Pimental established himself as one of the mainstays in Mizzou's pitching rotation during his junior season ... logged 10 starts in his 11 total appearances, the most on the team behind Logan Lunceford's 13 ... led the team with a 3.61 ERA, allowing just 17 earned runs in 42.1 innings of work ... registered 46 strikeouts while allowing just 31 hits and 15 walks, holding his opponents to a .205 batting average ... yielded just nine extra base hits, the least among Tiger pitchers who dealt at least 20 innings ... recorded his first win while working a season-high 6.0 innings against Kentucky (March 23), when he allowed four hits and one run while striking out five ... earned a second win against LSU (April 20), dealing for 5.0 innings and striking out four, allowing just two hits and one earned run ... struck out a season-high seven while working 5.0 innings against Purdue Fort Wayne (March 9) ... blanked Arkansas in his five innings pitched on March 16, allowing just one hit and punching four out ... amassed multiple strikeouts in every appearance except his last, when he struck out the only batter he faced against South Carolina (May 4) ... earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row.
