Evan Johnston is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the Mizzou Women's Basketball team. He joins the staff from Arkansas, where he worked under coach Mike Neighbors for four years as a student assistant/manager.
His roles with the Razorbacks included implementing NCAA and SEC COVID-19 guidelines for the team, facilitating drills and scout team, managing the team's equipment, analyzing shot quality and play call metric and editing and cutting film packages.
Johnston was named AECT Outstanding Freshman Scholar in May 2019 and AECT Outstanding Senior Scholar in May 2022.
The Charleston, Ark., native graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and double minor in Agricultural Business and Leadership in 2022.
