High School: Played for Jill Nagel at Rock Bridge High School... helped the team to three Class 4 Missouri State Championship titles (2012, 2013, 2014)...Received All-District and All-State honors following the 2014 season...she was ranked as the No. 41 recruit on ESPNU Hoop Gurlz 100 and no. 40 by Premier Girls Basketball Report... she was awarded All-District honors in her freshman and sophomore seasons, and was named to the Jeff City Jays Holiday Classic All-Tournament team in 2010... also earned All-Tournament honors in 2011 at the KTXR Lady Classic, and led her team shooting 61-percent from the floor that season...was a standout in the classroom as she won the National Merit Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction Award... was a member of the MBCA Academic All-State Team...received the Inspiration Award from WIN for Columbia...was a Rock Bridge Departmental Student of the Year (English Department)...also spent time volunteering at Kids Club at The Crossing during her high school years.
Personal: Daughter of Mizzou assistant coach Michael and Lisa Porter... born May 18, 1995, in Cincinnati, Ohio... at Mizzou she is double majoring in electrical engineering and physics... hobbies include reading, math, yoga, gardening and napping in the sunshine... has seven brothers and sisters who all play basketball...chose Mizzou over Oklahoma, Alabama, Arizona, Florida and Baylor.
