Freshman (2013-14): Recorded two double-doubles her freshman year, including one in Missouri's season opener at Saint Louis...Scored in double figures six times, earning her career-high of 19 against Saint Louis...She appeared in 31 games and started in eight, averaging 19.2 minutes per game...Finished the season third on team shooting 44-percent from the field and averaging 4.5 rebounds per game...Mizzou will look to her to lead in the post next season.
High School: Played under Rob Matula at Mason High School...was a four-year starter for her team...helped the Mason Comets to an 18-7 season in 2011-12, bringing the team to its first regional since 2000...averaged 13.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in her junior season...was recognized as a First-team All-GMC award winner, and was a Cincinnati Enquirer Division I all-area selection...was also named to the All-GMC Second team and earned an All-Region Honorable Mention.
Personal: A three year member of the Dean's list at Mason High School, McDowell boasts a 3.9 grade point average...was awarded the Mason Science Department's Student of the Year award...chose Mizzou over Iowa and Nebraska.
