Freshman (2012-13, Louisville): Holmes played middle blocker for the Cardinals Volleyball squad...appeared in eight matches, tallying nine kills in her freshman season...shortly after the volleyball season, Holmes joined the Cardinals women's basketball program, taking a redshirt year.
High School: Holmes attended East St. Louis High School where she played both volleyball and basketball...averaged 14.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for East St. Louis, and was among conference leaders in three-point shooting...earned First Team All-Southwestern Conference honors with the East St. Louis high school volleyball team as was also selected for USA Volleyball's Girls Youth Continental team.
