Kim Archer begins her second year as a graduate assistant strength coach with the Tigers. She is in her first season working with the Missouri women's basketball team. Archer was promoted to graduate assistant after spending a year and a half as a student assistant.
Archer handles the conditioning needs of the women's basketball, gymnastics, swimming, diving, tennis, cross country and golf teams. In addition, she is responsible for the nutritional counseling of the Tiger football team.
A native of Conception, Mo., Archer was a three-sport athlete at Jefferson High School. She lettered in basketball, softball and track.
Archer received her bachelor's degree in nutrition and physical fitness from the University of Missouri in 1997. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in health and nutrition education. She is single and resides in Columbia.
