Paige Monestime joined the University of Missouri sports information staff on June 1, 1995. Her primary responsibilities included publicity for the Tiger women's basketball and softball teams and editing the football game program.
Before joining Missouri, Monestime spent two years as a media relations assistant at Stanford University. She served as the primary contact for men's soccer, field hockey, men's swimming, men's and women's gymnastics, men's tennis, lacrosse and softball. She also assisted with football press releases, men's basketball game-day operations and women's volleyball marketing.
A native of Miles City, Montana, Monestime graduated from the University of Montana in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in history. She worked as a sports reporter for the Missoulian for one year before joining Stanford.
Formerly Paige Mikelson, she married former University of Montana running back Marc Monestime on July 8, 1995.
