1992-93:
MIZZOU: One of only two players to start every game for the Tigers last season. Ranks among the top three-point shooting guards in the conference and is MU's best threat from that range. Hit 32-of-100 three-point shots, setting Missouri season records both in shots attempted and shots made. Also contributed heavily to team records in both categories as the Tigers hit 63 three-pointers in 198 attempts during the 1991-92 campaign. Closed her sophomore season as one of three Tigers consistently scoring in double figures, averaging 10.6 points per game. Scored a career-high 24 points against Oklahoma in the Big Eight Tournament, March 7. Hit for double figures 16 times in all throughout the season. Grabbed a career-best 11 rebounds and scored 13 points for her first career "double-double" against Iowa State, Feb. 2. Used her quickness to lead the team with 49 steals. Was the Tigers' top freshman during the 1990-91 season. Saw action in 26 of MU's 28 games, starting 18. Led all freshmen, averaging 5.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Scored in double figures six times during the season. Recorded 22 steals to tie teammate Amy Fordham for the top rookie numbers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Led her Mitchell High team to a 32-4 record and a second-place finish in the state tournament during the 1989-90 season. Team also finished her last prep season as the city, district and regional champions. Averaged 20.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.8 assists as a senior. First-team all-state and all-regional selection. Set a state record by hitting six three-point shots in one game. Capped her final prep season by hitting 88 total three-point buckets. Tabbed the district MVP. Named the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association Class AA District "Player of the Year." Graduated 11th in her class.

RUTHERFORD ON WILLIAMS: "Stacy has excellent speed, strength and leaping ability. She will be looked upon to be our consistent three-point shooter this year. Stacy is really quick and should lead our fastbreak, as well as be our best defensive player out front. Overall, I feel that Stacy will be a big factor in our team's success this season."
