High School, Personal: Averaged 19.6 points and 8.4 rebounds while shooting 63 percent from the field and 69 percent from the line as a senior. Reading High finished with a 20-5 record and advanced to the regional tournament. Was an all-league choice three times and all-city twice. Played for the 16-and-under Junior Olympic team from Urbana that placed second at the AAU national tournament in 1987. Also participated in volleyball for three years and softball for one.
