1977-1978: Coach Rutherford is looking for Beck to provide strong outside shooting ... She is recovering from knee surgery, an injury that put her out of action for 19 games in 1977, but Beck still had the third highest average on the team at 10.7, and averaged 5.9 rebounds, second highest on the team ... The coach said of Beck, "She has good shooting range and will quarterback the offense. She is a determined and dedicated player."
