1992-93:
MIZZOU: A talented player who has made the most progress during her career. A co-captain who will be looked to for leadership and scoring. Enjoyed her best season yet during the 1991-92 campaign. Started 24 consecutive games before being sidelined against Oklahoma State with a severe muscle strain in her lower right leg. Did not play again until the Big Eight Tournament. Earned honorable mention all-Big Eight honors. Led the team with 27 blocked shots. Averaged 7.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Top performance came against Nebraska, Feb. 12. Scored a career-high 20 points and held Karen Jennings, the league's leading scorer, to just six points for the game. Hit double figures nine times, including four "double-doubles." Named to the Phillips 66 first-team academic all-Big Eight squad. Used the 1990-91 season as a turning point after sitting out most of her freshman year with a stress fracture. Averaged 6.3 points and 5.3 rebounds her sophomore season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Led her Salisbury High team to the Missouri Class 2A state championship in 1989. Averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds as a senior. Named to the first-team all-state squad and chosen the conference and team MVP her final two prep seasons. Among the top ten candidates for the Miss Show-Me Basketball voting. Excellent student who earned an Alumni Scholarship. Finished sixth in her class.
