1979-80: Begins her fourth season as a Tiger under coach Rutherford. Has played in 90 games, third highest on Missouri's squad. Has totaled 514 points and 277 rebounds for 5.7 ppg and 3.1 career averages. High game last year was 12 points against Kansas State, and picked off seven rebounds for personal season's best vs. Kansas.
Missed first nine games of '78-'79 due to a bout with mononucleosis, but returned to see action in all 21 games after the Christmas break. Career high is 21 points against Illinois State in the '77-'78 season. An exceptionally quick athlete, Stevenson is known for her ability to free herself under the basket.
Is one of the most experienced Tiger veterans. Has missed much of preseason with injuries but is expected to be full strength for start of campaign, averaging 18 ppg. Led Knox County H.S. to Class 2A state championship in 1976, also participated in prep tennis and track.

1977-78: This former all-stater moved into the college level of competition with relative ease. Kathy saw action in 37 games last year, averaging 8 ppg. and 4.5 rpg., contributing more and more as she gained additional playing time.
Coach Rutherford said of Kathy, “She is a player that is determined to get better. She works hard to improve and will see considerable action this year.”
Kathy was named to the all-tournament team at the annual Thanksgiving Turkey tournament last year. Her senior year in high school, her team (Knox Co.) won the state tournament. She also was honored as a member of Who’s Who.
1976-77: 5-9...Fr...forward...Edina, Mo. Participated in basketball, track and tennis in high school. Physical education major. Member of all-conference, all-district, all-state basketball teams as senior.
