Indoor Track - LaQuisha's stellar debut year with the Tigers started with the first meet of the season, as she crashed through the two-year-old 60m dash school record during the Border Battle, winning the event in 7.44...Her first win of three during the indoor season was followed by her only 600m run of the year, where she crossed in ninth (1:38.93)...LaQuisha continued to drop that 60m dash time during the following week, when she defended her home track during the Missouri Invitational, crossing in 7.43 during the preliminary round and 7.42 in the final...She made her 400m dash debut during the Rod McCravy Memorial, finishing 41st in 58.95...The Armory Track Invitational proved to be a momentous one for LaQuisha, as she earned her final 60m dash PR of the season with a 7.31 finish during the preliminary round, 7.34 for second in the final...She also added her name to the top of the record board for the 200m dash, outpacing the previous record held by Mizzou legend Natasha Kaiser-Brown with a 23.90 performance during the final round, good for third overall...She paced through with the second-fastest 400m dash performance in school history during the Tyson Invitational, crossing with a PR time of 54.50...She also placed 13th in the Tyson field during the 200m dash in 23.58...She ended her regular season at home during the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, winning the 60m dash in 7.33...LaQuisha closed the indoor season at the SEC Championships, finishing 13th in the 200m dash (23.88) and sixth in the 60m dash (7.41).

Outdoor Track - LaQuisha continued her climb through the history books into the outdoor season, timing through with school record times in the 200m dash and 4x400m...She kicked the season off at the Texas Relays, where she placed fifth in the 200m dash (23.66w) and 18th in the 100m dash (11.87)...She was third across the line during the 100m dash at the John McDonnell Invitational (11.59w) and fourth in the 200m (23.74)...She was a member of the 4x400m, 4x200m, and 1600m SMR teams during the prestigious Penn Relays...LaQuisha's School Record 200m dash performance came during the Tom Botts Invitational, which she won in 23.52...She also timed through with a season's best 11.63 in the 100m dash, placing first in the field...LaQuisha donned the black and gold for the SEC Championships, taking 21st in the 200m (24.39), 20th in the 100m (11.68w), and was a member of the School Record 4x400m team (3:40.68)...LaQuisha closed her season at the NCAA West Preliminary Round where she finished 18th in the 100m dash (11.45w) and 21st in the 200m dash (23.98).

LaQuisha competed for Howard School of Academics Technology...A nine-time TSSAA State Champion and the No. 2-ranked sprinter in the nation in 2011, she was the 2011 Tennessee Gatorade Athlete of the Year...She was the 2009-11 TSSAA Champion in the 100m dash, the 2009-10 TSSAA Champion in the 200m dash, finished in third and second-place for the pentathlon in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
