Indoor: Competed in the pole vault and turned in a season-best mark of 4.45m on two separate occasions, at the Bill Bergan Invitational and the 2011 MU-KU Border Dual, placing ninth and eighth, respectively. Outdoor: Did not compete.

High School: Finished fourth in the state in the pole vault in 2009 ... Named All-State in the pole vault during the 2009 season as well.

Personal: Born on Sept. 15, 1992 in Texarkana, Texas, to parents Michael and Chris Codling ... Has aspirations of becoming an All-American while at Mizzou ... Is currently undecided on his major.
