Opened the outdoor season with a third-place showing in the shot put at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (17.08m, 56-10), and also threw the discus 44.78m (146-11) … had a shot put mark of 16.59m (54-5.25) at the Battle on the Bayou … third in the shot at the Cougar Classic (17.13m PR, 56-2.5) … PR’d again in the shot put at the Virginia Challenge in placing sixth (17.68m, 58-0.25) … was fourth at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster in the shot put (17.64m, 57-10.5) … placed 20^th at the SEC Championships in the shot put (16.86m, 55-3.75).
