- Swam season-best times of 4:47.85 in the 500 free, 1:02.97 in the 100 breast, 2:10.19 in the 200 breast, 1:58.16 in the 200 IM and 4:15.96 in the 400 IM
- Took 11th in the 200 breast and 22nd in the 200 IM at the SEC Championships
- Won two event titles on the year, both in the 200 breast

- Earned runner-up honors in the 100 breast and took fourth in the 200 IM at the 2017 Texas 6A High School State Championships
