- Placed 18th in the 200 fly at the SEC Championships to earn SEC All-Freshman honors as the top freshman finisher
- Also took 20th in the 100 fly at SECs
- Earned finishes of second in the 100 fly and third in the 200 fly at the Mizzou Invite

- Attended Dripping Springs High School and swam for Nitro Swimming Club
- Claimed the 2016 100 fly state title
- Placed fourth in the 200 fly at the Winter Junior Nationals in 2016
- Part of the first-place 800 free relay team with a meet record time at Winter Junior Nationals.
