Biography
2019-20 (JUNIOR, Mizzou):
- Played in 24 games, dealing with a back injury that him sidelined from Jan. 28-Feb. 26.
- Averaged 10.0 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 37.1 percent from beyond the arc, 39.1 percent from the field and 73.5 percent from the free throw line.
- Finished the season with a team-high 53 triples despite missing seven games.
- Hit at least one triple in 20 games and made at least a pair of treys 14 times.
- Reached double figures 10 times with going 7-3 in those outings, and scored at least 18 points in six different games.
- Shot 5-of-12 and finished with 13 points and five boards in the season finale win over Alabama (March 7).

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE, Mizzou):
- Played in 19 games in his first season in a Mizzou uniform, but was limited and eventually sidelined down the stretch with a foot injury.
- Started 16 games, averaging 11.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists after putting up 5.8 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists as a freshman at Illinois.
- Shot a blistering 45 percent from 3-point range, the highest percentage in the SEC (min. 100 attempts).
- The 45-percent mark from beyond the arc was the fourth-highest by a sophomore in Mizzou history and the eighth-highest ever in program history.
- One of 28 players in the nation to shoot 45 percent from 3-point range and one of just six from power conferences.
- Lit up Central Arkansas in the season opener to the tune of 19 points (5-of-8 3FGs) and a career-high 10 rebounds, becoming the first Tiger newcomer with a double-double in his debut since Linas Kleiza in 2003 (Nov. 6).

- A week later, led Mizzou to win over Xavier with 13 points and six boards (Dec. 18).

- Reached double figures in four consecutive games from Jan. 13 to Jan. 23, averaging four made triples per game during that stretch.
- Converted 5-of-5 free throw attempts (career-best) and scored 14 points at South Carolina (Jan. 13).
- Chipped in 13 points apiece vs. Alabama and Texas A&M, adding eight boards and three assists in the outing vs. the Crimson Tide (Jan. 16).
- Put on a sizzling display at Arkansas, scoring 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting behind a career-high six 3-pointers, but got hurt in the final minutes (Jan. 23). Became the sixth Tiger since 2010 to hit six threes in a game.

2017-18 (FRESHMAN, Illinois):
- Made 19 starts in 13 game appearances.
- Averaged 5.8 points and 1.4 assists as a freshman, scoring in double figures six times.
- Converted 79.6 percent of his free throws, making 43-of-54 attempts at the charity stripe.
- Scored a career-high 21 points vs. DePaul
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Averaged 21.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 2.1 steals as a senior.
- Captained Edwardsville High School to a 30-2 record in 2016-17, reaching double figures 30 times.
- Racked up eight 30-point games, garnering First-Team All-State recognition from the Associated Press, Chicago Tribune, Champaign News-Gazette and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.
- 2017 Champaign News-Gazette Player of the Year and Belleville News-Democrat Player of the Year.
- 2017 Illinois Mr. Basketball and Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year.
- Scored a career-best 45 points and hauled in 16 rebounds in the IHSA Class 4A Sectional Championship game to help Edwardsville earn a sectional title.
- Consensus four-star recruit, tabbed No. 55 by Rivals in Class of 2017.

- Son of Antony and Yvonne Smith, who played collegiately at SIU-Carbondale and SIU-Edwardsville, respectively.
