2007-08 Season:

Averaged 11.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in all-32 games as a sophomore ... Led the team in minutes pla¬yed at 29.2 and topped 30 minutes 17 times, including 10 of his last 11 games ... Made 20 starts, including 12 consecutive to close the season ... Shot 34.9 percent from three-point range on the year, but was a much-improved 42.0 percent shooter in Big 12 Conference play ... Shot 46.8 percent from the floor in league action, which ranked among team leaders and tops amongst all guards ... Was excellent inside the arc all season long, shooting 47.7 percent (96-of-201) inside three-point range and earned notoriety for his mid-range game ... Was a good foul shooter at 75.8 percent on the year and his 77 assists ranked third on the club ... Ranked fourth on the team with 29 steals ... Topped the 20-point plateau twice, initially a 24-point effort at Texas Tech, before scoring 25 points in an ESPN Big Monday telecast at Kansas ... 2006-07 Season:

Mizzou's top freshman guard since Kareem Rush and finished the season averaging 9.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game ... Hard-worker in the class room that earned a 3.55 grade-point average through his summer and fall semesters ... Showed his ability to perform in the clutch with his game-winning bucket against Oklahoma at Mizzou Arena ... The score was tied 64-64 with :47 seconds remaining when he buried a turn-around jumper from the elbow to break the tie ... Sealed the win by going 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the final seconds ... Suffered through an injury-riddled early portion of the season, suffering a stress fracture in preseason workouts and missed each of Mizzou's exhibition games ... Then suffered a severe ankle sprain at the start of Big 12 play ... Rebounded nicely once fully healthy and finished the season on a run of eight consecutive double-figure scoring games, which was the most by a freshman since Rush in 1999-2000 ... Finished the year averaging 13.9 points on 49.5 percent shooting from the floor and 47.7 percent shooting from three-point range over his last 11 contests ... That average was second on the club and his field goal and three-point percentage during that stretch was tops on the team among guards ... Named the Big 12's Rookie of the Week on Feb. 19 after averaging 21.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in wins over Baylor and at No. 18 Oklahoma State ... Led the Tigers at OSU with 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting ... Poured in a career high 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting in the win over Baylor ... Those 24 points marked the eighth highest scoring game by a Mizzou freshman in school history ... Reached double-figures in scoring 16 times, including 14 points in a nationally-televised contest with Arkansas ... Hit 6-of-10 shots and 2-of-3 three-pointers vs. the Razorbacks ... A surprisingly good rebounder for his size and enjoyed five or more rebounds five times throughout Big 12 action.

High School:

Earned first team All-State recognition by the Newark Star-Ledger and was ranked among the Top 101 players nationally by Rivals.com ... Nicknamed the "Human Pogostick" for his acrobatic dunks and athleticism ... Earned first team All-Area, first team All-Senior and first team All-Essex County by the Star-Ledger after averaging 31.2 points during his senior season ... Those 31.2 points per game were tops in the state of New Jersey and his 843 total points helped him become just the third player in Essex County history to clear 2,000 points for a career ... A well-rounded performer that led Weequahic High School with 6.7 assists and 8.7 rebounds as well ... Entered his senior campaign as the program's lone returning starter, but still paced the club to a 24-3 mark ... Earned national recognition following his senior campaign and was an honorable mention prep All-American ... Competed in the Jordan All-American Classic at Madison Square Garden ... Competed in the five-game Albert C. Donofrio Classic in Philadelphia and averaged 34.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.9 steals to lead his Roadrunners to the tourney crown ... Earned MVP accolades following the title and hit back-to-back, game-winning three-pointers in the semifinals and finals ... Poured in a season-best 42 points in a 66-62 win over Parsippany Hills and followed that up with 40 in a 71-68 triumph over Orange High School in the Essex County Tournament ... Was cited by the Newark Star-Ledger as having the second best single-game performance in the area as a junior, when he hit for 40 points in a 78-73 overtime win over Summit ... For his efforts, Lawrence was also named to the Star-Ledger's All Long-Distance Team and was a first team All-Newark pick by the publication ... Selected as one of New Jersey's Top Five juniors and was an All-Essex County second team honoree ... Played in the Jersey Shore Basketball League and recorded scoring totals of 48 and 43 points against competition that included former Detroit Pistons reserve guard Horace Jenkins and then-collegiate standouts Taquan Dean of Louisville Villanova's Mike Nardi of Villanova.
