- Saw action off the bench at No. 1 Kentucky (Jan. 13), his first playing time of the season and career at Mizzou.
2013-14:
- Redshirted the 2013-14 season and worked heavily with the Tiger strength and conditioning staff.
- Used his 6-foot-10 frame to add depth in the post during practice.
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Averaged 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for Metea Valley High School in Aurora, Ill., as a senior to help the Mustangs (19-10) to a runner-up finish in the Upstate 8 Conference.
- Was a key contributor on a 25-5 squad as a junior.
- Metea Valley won the Upstate 8 and regional crowns that season and advanced to the Illinois Class 4A Sweet 16.
- Was ranked as one of the state's Top 30 recruits by ChicagoHoops.com as a senior.
- Competed on the AAU circuit with Illinois Fundamental U and the Illinois Heat.

- Son of Pam and Jim Barnard.
- Has one brother, Dylan, a recent Mizzou graduate.
- Parents are both graduates of Mizzou.
- Wears the number of former Mizzou standout and current head coach Kim Anderson, but No. 42 was also worn by Barnard’s grandfather at the University of Missouri.
- Was a leader and member of the Younglife Christian Group and was a Peer Partner, serving as a sports mentor for mentally/physically challenged youth.
- Would like to work on Wall Street after his playing career.
