Quickly:

Versatile, blue-collar performer who has the ability to impact a game in a number of ways ... Very good defensive performer that can guard four positions on the floor ... Despite his size, is able to trap on the perimeter and recover back to the post, making him one of the team's most valuable players ... Not known for posting big offensive numbers, but impacts the game offensively by making "hustle" plays: put-backs, offensive rebounds, making the extra pass, etc.

2006-07 Season:

Averaged 4.6 points, 2.8 rebounds 0.8 assists and 0.7 steals for the Tigers in 29 games ... Made his first career start vs. Nebraska, scoring 10 points and grabbing six boards in 17 minutes of action ... Provided the Tigers with a big boost off the bench throughout the season, but primarily during the second half of the Big 12 campaign where he averaged 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds over the final 10 outings ... Shot 61.7 percent from the floor during that stretch, which was tops on the club, while averaging an improved 15.1 minutes per game ... Reached double figure four times on the year, including a career high 13 points at Nebraska on 6-of-8 shooting and 11 points vs. Lipscomb on 4-of-4 shooting ... Enjoyed a great all-around performance at Colorado, scoring six points and grabbing a career high seven boards vs. the Buffs ... Was one of the team's top defenders and finished the year with 21 steals.

Junior College:

Averaged 8.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists as a sophomore ... Earned All-Region XVI honoree after averaging 10.8 points and 6.7 rebounds in postseason play and led Mineral Area College to a 28-5 overall record in 2005-06, which concluded with a No. 13 National Junior College Athletics Association national ranking and Region XVI and Midwest Community College Athletic Conference championships ... Began his junior college career at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Mo. in 2004-05 ... Averaged 6.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for the 17-12 Roadrunners as a rookie, but transferred to Mineral Area after the retirement of SFCC Head Coach Billy Barton.

High School:

Started his high school career as a quarterback at Miami Carol City Senior High School ... Played two seasons under center before suffering hip and ankle injuries ... Switched to basketball for his final two campaigns ... Named team MVP following his lone season on the hardwood ... Earned honorable mention All-Dade County recognition from the Miami Herald after averaging 16.5 points and 9.4 rebounds ... Led the Chiefs to a 21-7 overall record and a berth to the Class 6A Regional Finals.
