Crowe brings more than 25 years of experience – both as a player and as a coach – to the Tigers, most recently leading Inglewood High School from 2024 to 2026.
During his time with the Sentinels, Crowe led a program that hadn’t posted 20 wins since 2015-16 to back-to-back campaigns with 25-plus victories. Overall, he totaled a combined 54 wins in two seasons with the program, winning the Ocean League Championship in consecutive campaigns with trips to the CIF-SS Division I Playoffs. Crowe earned Coach of the Year accolades following the 2025-26 season by the Daily Breeze.
Crowe also keyed the development of his son, Jason Crowe Jr., during his time at Inglewood. Prior to his time at Inglewood, Crowe served as head coach at Lynwood High School from 2017 to 2024. A two-time Gateway League Coach of the Year, Crowe led the Knights to their first state title in school history during the 2023 tournament.
In addition to coaching Lynwood, Crowe was also the President/Director of Paul Pierce’s The Truth EYBL team in the Nike Youth Basketball league, coaching the U17 and U16 teams. During his time with the program, he helped develop three future NBA players in Jamie Jaquez Jr., Peyton Watson and Keshad Johnson. He also previously served as head coach at Verbum Dei High School from 2014 to 2017.
As a player, Crowe enjoyed a successful career that spanned more than a decade across Europe, Oceania, South America, North America and Asia, including a stint with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2002 and 2003. He keyed the Waikato Pistons to the New Zealand NBL Championship in 2008 as the league’s MVP. Overall, Crowe led the NZNBL in assists three times during his career, while also leading the league in steals in 2007.
Additional accolades for Crowe during his playing career included being named league MVP for Kyiv in 2002, winning an ABA Championship with the Long Beach Jam in 2004 and earning Eurobasket.com’s Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2009-10.
During his final three seasons as a player, Crowe also served as an assistant coach and player development coach with his teams.
