Daniels registered a breakthrough season at the plate, hitting .296 with four home runs and 28 RBIs in 35 games as a sophomore ... made 29 total starts, primarily at first base and in the outfield ... batted .357 vs. left-handers and .423 with runners in scoring position, both of which are tops among all returning MU hitters ... hit .348 at home, with all four of his home runs coming at Taylor Stadium ... led all Mizzou hitters in the month of April with a .343 (24-for-70) batting mark ... produced nine multi-hit performances, including a 5-for-7 stretch in a two-game sweep of UT Martin (April 2-3) during which he homered twice and drove in nine runs; in the second game, logged a 3-for-4 effort with three steals while reaching safely in four of five trips to the plate ... helped cap a three-game SEC series sweep of No. 6 Florida (April 5-7), going 4-for-12 for the weekend, including a three-hit effort in the finale, an 11-10 comeback victory ... also produced back-to-back two-hit games vs. LSU (April 20-21), including a 2-for-4 day with a home run in an 8-7 MU victory ... helped the Tigers to a series-opening win over Auburn (May 10) as well, logging a 2-for-5 night with a steal ... named to the SEC's Spring Academic Honor Roll.
