Appeared in 23 games for the Tigers, filling a key role at the back end of the bullpen ... led the team with five saves on the season ... earned his first Mizzou win with three scoreless innings at Nicholls on Feb. 21 ... recorded saves in three-straight outings from Feb. 25 to March 4 against ULM and Tarleton State ... dominant in non-conference action, working to a 1.80 ERA over 15 innings in 13 relief outings .. five saves marked a career high for Cheeley and tied for the most by a Mizzou pitcher since 2018.

Spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons at Middle Tennessee ... made 13 appearances for the Blue Raiders in 2021, third most on the team ... finished 2021 at 1-1 with 19 strikeouts in 21.1 IP ... 2021 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll ... tossed 9.2 IP in five appearances in 2020 ... began career at Jefferson College where he was a two-time All-Conference and All-Region selection ... combined 12-1 with six saves in two seasons at Jefferson College.
