Leader in the secondary for Mizzou in his senior season, produced 46 tackles, 1.0 TFL and 4 PBU … Had 8 tackles and 1 PBU against No. 2 Alabama (9/26/20) in the season opener … Had 8 tackles, 0.5 TFL and 2 PBUs at No. 10/9 Florida (10/31/20) … Made 7 tackles at South Carolina (11/21/20) … Had 4 tackles and a PBU against No. 12/10 Georgia (12/12/20) … 5 tackles against both No. 21/20 Tennessee (10/3/20) and Arkansas (12/5/20)
2019 SEASON
Developed into one of the team’s top defenders at one of the two safety spots during his junior season, finishing the year with 50 tackles, second-most on the team, while adding 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, seven pass breakups, a QB hurry and a forced fumble … Played in all 12 games, starting 11 while his only non-start came due to a targeting penalty suffered in the second half of the Vanderbilt game (10/19) … Had a career-high nine tackles (eight solo) against Ole Miss (10/12) in a 38-27 Mizzou Homecoming win … Opened his season with seven tackles (five solo) at Wyoming (8/31) … Posted a season-high 2.0 tackles for loss against Kentucky, despite having to miss the first half of that game for a targeting penalty … Registered his second career sack in Mizzou’s 34-14 SEC-opening win over South Carolina (9/21), a six-yard loss … Had a pair of games with multiple pass breakups, doing so against South Carolina (9/21) and in the season finale vs. Arkansas (11/29).
2018 SEASON
Developed into a major contributor on the Tiger defense midway through the season, and his increased playing time coincided with the on-field improvement of the overall unit … Took over starting duties at one safety spot at No. 1 Alabama (10/13), and started the rest of the season – eight starts in all … Ended the season third on the defense with his 48 tackles, which included 1.5 tackles for loss and one quarterback sack, to go along with two pressures and a pass break-up … 42 of his 48 tackles came in the last eight games after taking over the starting spot … Closed the season by making six tackles in the Liberty Bowl against Oklahoma State (12/31) … Twice notched a season-high seven tackles, doing so in wins against Vanderbilt (11/10) and at Tennessee (11/17) … In Knoxville, had 1.5 tackles for loss, including his first collegiate quarterback sack … Also made six stops against a pair of nationally-ranked opponents in No. 1 Alabama (10/13) and No. 16 Kentucky (10/27).
2017 SEASON
Developed quickly into a dependable special teams contributor as a true freshman, seeing action in seven games and coming on strong late in the season ... Assisted on a tackle in games against Florida and in the Texas Bowl against Texas.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL
Physical and fearless athlete who could translate well to either side of the ball for Mizzou … Excelled at safety and tailback for Vanguard, and was also a special teams standout on several units … As a senior in 2016, stood out on both sides of the ball, amassing 40 tackles and two interceptions with one pick six on defense, while averaging 14.2 yards on 39 rushes on offense, going for 555 yards and seven scores there … Also returned a punt for a 43-yard touchdown during the season as his Knights went 10-2 on the year, and reached the regional finals in Class 6, before falling by one point to the eventual state runners-up (Lake Gibson) … Had a huge game late in the year against Mitchell when he ran for three touchdowns and 184 yards on just six attempts, while also blocking a field goal attempt in the game … High school coach: Edwin Farmer …. Primary recruiter: Ryan Walters … Cited a positive recruiting experience with Mizzou’s staff, players and fellow recruits, as well as the chance to contribute on the field early in his career as primary reasons for becoming a Tiger … Currently undecided on major, but has an interest in either Business or Accountancy ...
