PRIOR TO MIZZOU: Lettered two years at Boonville under head coach Greg Hough … recorded 124 tackles, 20.5 TFLs, 6.0 sacks, one fumble recovery and one caused fumble … helped the Pirates to a 16-8 two-year ledger with a district championship and back-to-back state playoff appearances, including a state quarterfinal showing as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born August 23, 2005 ... son of Atiyyah and Jessica Ellison ... majoring in journalism … father lettered three seasons (2002-03-04) at defensive line for Mizzou, earning two-time (2003-04) All-Big 12 honors before being drafted in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and having a five-year NFL career before coming back to Mizzou to be the Tigers’ director of player and alumni relations.
