- 2018 Freshman All-SEC Team (Coaches)
- 2018 SEC Freshman of the Week (11/12/18)
2018 SEASON
Became one of the team's best stories throughout the course of his true freshman season, as he converted from defensive end to tight end in the middle of training camp to help out at a position group hurt with injuries, and by the end of the year had earned a spot on the SEC's All-Freshman team ... Played in 12 games in all while making a pair of starts, and caught six passes for 63 yards and one touchdown ... Biggest contributions came as a blocker, as he quickly showed he was one of the more physical tight ends in the conference, and was responsible for several blocks that sprung Tiger backs for big gains and touchdowns ... Had a big performance in MU's bowl-clinching win over Vanderbilt (11/10), when he caught three passes for 42 yards and his first career touchdown to help key a comeback win ... Was also a key reason why the Tiger ground game ran for 253 yards against a solid Vandy rush defense ... Made his first career catch at Florida (11/3), and later had single-catch games at Tennessee (11/17) and Arkansas (11/23).
