2007 OUTLOOK
Stalwart defensive lineman who toils relatively unnoticed in the trenches, but who will play a huge role in 2007 as a leader for the team both on and off the field ... Enters spring ball listed No. 1 on the depth chart at the nosetackle position, where he earned honorable-mention All-Big 12 acclaim a year ago ... Is also one of the best interviews on the team, due to his candidness and willingness to talk, win, lose or draw ... Enters the 2007 season ranked 10th on Mizzou's career QB sacks list, with 12.5 career sacks ... Is also the defense's active career leader in games played (36), tackles for loss (23.0), QB sacks (12.5), fumbles forced (5) fumbles recovered (5) and blocked kicks (4) ... An enterprising person by nature, he bought and ran his own sno-cone stand in Columbia over the summer of 2006 to earn some money, and was doing very well until his vending license expired and it was time for football to start up.

2006 SEASON
An unsung hero on the defensive line who had some of the best all-around production numbers on the Tiger defense ... His work didn't go completely unnoticed, as he was named honorable mention All-Big 12 by both league coaches and media voting ... Earned his All-Big 12 status for a season that saw him record 53 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 6 QB sacks playing in the trenches at nosetackle ... He also recovered 3 fumbles, forced 2 more and ranked 3rd on the team with 7 QB pressures ... He added 2 pass break ups, and led the team with 2 blocked kicks, blocking field goal attempts in consecutive games at New Mexico and against Ohio ... Closed the regular season with a disruptive day against Kansas, as he had 4 tackles, but that included 2 tackles for loss, a half-sack and fumble recovery that led to an MU 4th-quarter TD that sealed the game ... Had 3 tackles against Texas A&M, with one of those a key 3rd-down QB sack in the 4th quarter that gave MU's offense one more chance for a game-winning drive ... Had a 5-tackle outing against Colorado, adding a sack in that game ... Against Texas Tech, he added his 3rd sack of the year ... Forced his 1st fumble of the year on that sack, while adding a career-best 3 QB hurries on the night ... Had a season-best 6 tackles against Oklahoma, then surpassed that with a career-high 9 stops at Nebraska ... Made 6 tackles at Iowa State ... Had a season-high 2.5 tackles for loss (10 yards) and 1 sack for a loss of seven yards against Oklahoma ... The sack was the 10th of his career, moving him into the top-10 in career sacks all-time at Mizzou (he stands 10th currently with 12.5 career sacks) ... Also forced a fumble against OU, his 2nd of the season ... Had just one tackle vs. Ohio, but still had a big day, as he recovered a fumble, blocked a PAT and broke up a pass ... Also recovered a fumble and blocked a FG at New Mexico ... Was forced to miss several weeks of off-season conditioning due to a tonsillectomy procedure he had to have done, but was at full strength when spring camp opened in March.

2005 SEASON
Defensive tackle who had a big year at a crucial time, as he moved inside (after playing at end in 2004, and coming to MU originally as a linebacker), in order to help replace the losses of NFL draftees Atiyyah Ellison and C.J. Mosley (both tackles) ... Started all 12 games at one tackle spot ... Despite his inexperience inside, had a solid year for the Tigers, as he had 35 tackles overall, including 9.5 TFLs (53 yards) and 5.5 QB sacks (33 yards) ... Ranked 2nd on the team in forced fumbles (3), recovered fumbles (2) and QB hurries (6) ... Also was a special teams standout, as he led the team with 2 blocked kicks ... An outstanding leader who was awarded with the team's Rigman Outstanding Underclassman Leadership Award at the team banquet ... Output improved over the year, as he became more comfortable at his new position - averaged 3.5 tackles per game in the final 8 games, after averaging 1.7 in MU's 1st 4 games of the year ... Had 2 tackles in Mizzou's bowl victory over South Carolina, but they were mostly big ones, as he had 1.5 TFLs (15 yards in losses) and also added 1 QB hurry ... Had a QB sack in the bowl game that went for 12 yards ... Had big outings against Baylor and at Kansas, as he registered a season-high 5 tackles in each game ... Added 2 QB sacks (14 yards) vs. Baylor, and had a half-sack at Kansas, and had 2.5 TFLs (7 yards) total at KU, plus he forced 1 fumble and blocked 2 kicks there ... Was also very active in MU's 41-24 win over Nebraska, as he had 4 tackles, 1 QB sack, 2 QB hurries, 1 forced fumble and 1 PBU as MU's defense held the Huskers to negative 2 yards rushing on the day ... Has worked hard in the Tiger strength and conditioning program to add weight to his frame ... Changed his jersey number to 99 during the spring, after wearing 30 last year.

2004 SEASON
Made nice contributions as a redshirt freshman defensive end on a defensive line that was a strong point of MU's much-improved defense ... Was named 1st-Team Freshman All-Big 12 by The Sporting News ... Played in all 11 games, and registered 21 tackles, including 3 tackles for loss and 1 QB sack ... Was credited with 2 QB hurries on the season, as well ... Had a career-best 6-tackle outing in game #10 versus Kansas, with all 6 stops of the solo variety ... Had 2 tackles for loss against the Jayhawks, totaling 3 yards in losses ... Posted 3-tackle games against Troy, Baylor and Oklahoma State, and had 2-tackle outings against Ball State and at Iowa State ... His sack resulted in a 3-yard loss at Baylor, as the Tigers moved to 4-1 on the season with a 30-10 win in Waco ... Was limited during the spring due to a banged-up knee.

2003 SEASON
Redshirt season ... Earned scout team MVP honors for his work in practice leading up to Mizzou's game against Texas A&M.

HIGH SCHOOL
An outstanding multi-sport athlete who lettered in football, track, basketball, wrestling and baseball ... Ranked as the No. 25 overall prospect in the Midland region by SuperPrep Magazine, and rated as the nation's No. 27 linebacker by the same publication... Rivals.com had him ranked as the No. 9 prospect in Oklahoma ... Had 127 tackles, including 42 for loss and recorded 6 sacks as a senior in 2002, and added 12 forced fumbles, 8 passes broken up, 6 fumble recoveries and 2 interceptions ... Named to the Oklahoma Blue Chip team and all-state team as a senior for his efforts ... Was an honorable mention all-state pick as a junior, after amassing 137 tackles, including a whopping 51 for loss ... As a sophomore in 2000, registered 101 tackles, including 32 for loss ... A standout discus thrower who has placed 3rd in the Junior Olympics and 2nd at the USATF Nationals ... High school coach - Ricky Oliver.

PERSONAL
Son of Lorenzo Williams and LaRhonda & Steve Alexander ... A member of National Honor Society who was pursued by several Ivy League schools for his academic abilities ... Is interested in studying medicine while at MU ... Chose Mizzou over Oklahoma State and Kansas, among others.
