2007 OUTLOOK
Impressive athlete who is a walk-on from nearby Jefferson City ... Spent his first year in the program as a reserve tailback, and moved to linebacker during the spring of 2006 ... A knee injury suffered in fall camp derailed his 2006 season, but he's back and healthy for 2007 and enters fall camp listed No. 4 on the depth chart at the weakside linebacker position ... Enrolled at MU in January of 2005 after spending one semester at Truman State after his high school days.
2006 SEASON
Moved to linebacker during the spring ... Was looking good at his new position early in spring camp before suffering a knee injury that required surgery ... Was able to return to practice in the fall, despite not being 100 percent, and was listed at No. 3 on the depth chart at the weakside linebacker position heading into August drills.
2005 SEASON
Sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules ... Spent the year working hard in the weight room and as part of the offensive scout team ... Had 2 carries for 10 yards in the 2005 spring game, and showed good skills both as a runner and as a blocking back during the spring practice period.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-sport letterman for Jefferson City High School, competing in football, baseball and track and field for the Jays ... Lettered three years in football and earned all-district honors as a senior team captain ... High school coach - Tony Grosso.
