Big-play ability receiver with excellent speed and burst ... Veteran who can play all over the field, will likely run out of the slot most often ... Caught a pair of passes in the Black & Gold Spring Game for 15 yards total.
2016 SEASON
Caught five passes for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns during his sophomore season … Hauled in three passes for a career high 125 yards and a touchdown in Mizzou’s home opener against Eastern Michigan (9/10), good for the first 100-yard outing of his career ... Tallied his second TD grab of the season against Middle Tennessee (10/22), hauling in a 17-yard strike from Drew Lock to pull Mizzou within a field goal with 8:44 remaining.
2015 SEASON
Saw action in nine games after switching from defensive back to wide receiver for the 2015 season … Caught four passes for 24 yards including a career-long 13-yard grab on two separate occasions … Those catches came in back-to-back games vs. UConn (Sept. 19) and at Kentucky (Sept. 26) … Also had a pair of rushes for four yards on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL
A playmaker who is also a home run threat is what Mizzou’s coaching staff saw during his high school career … played both wide receiver and defensive back for St. Louis University High School and head coach Gary Kornfeld … totaled a team-high 482 rushing yards with five touchdowns as a senior in 2013, also grabbing 18 receptions for 241 yards and two touchdowns … recorded 24 tackles and two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball … stellar junior season in 2012 included 1,379 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns, as well as five interceptions … older brother, Ronnie Wingo Jr., is a running back in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills … considered the No. 7 recruit in the Show-Me State by Rivals.com … also participated in track and field for St. Louis University High School, claiming a 100m dash championship.

Parents – Ronnie and Tiffany Wingo … chose Mizzou over offers from many of the other top programs in the country, including Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan State, Nebraska and Tennessee … lists fishing and playing basketball as hobbies … noted Mizzou’s family atmosphere as playing an important role in his decision.
