2019 SEASON
Had a strong junior season, developing into one of the SEC’s best safeties, using his blend of speed and physicality to disrupt opposing offenses … Finished the year ranked third on the team with 49 tackles (35 solo) with 4.0 tackles for loss … Added a team-high 10 pass breakups with a fumble recovery and also forced fumble … His 49 tackles were a new single-season career-high … He became the first Mizzou safety in more than a decade to post 10+ pass breakups in a single season and it was just the eighth time at Mizzou defender had 10 pass breakups in a single season since 2009 … Posted a career-high 10 tackles (five solo) at Vanderbilt (10/19) … Tallied seven tackles (all solo) in Mizzou’s 38-27 Homecoming win over Ole Miss (10/12), giving him 17 tackles over a two-week span … Had multiple pass breakups in three consecutive games, all Mizzou wins, over South Carolina (9/21), Troy (10/5) and vs. Ole Miss (10/19) … Forced a fumble in Mizzou’s win over Ole Miss as well … Recovered a fumble at Kentucky (10/26).
2018 SEASON
Became a key contributor during the season for a Tiger secondary which improved throughout the course of the season ... Saw action in 12 games overall, and ended the year 12th on the team with 28 tackles and a pair of pass break-ups ... Biggest play of the year came at Tennessee (11/17) when he scooped up a fumble and raced 39 yards for a touchdown that was the kill shot in Mizzou's 50-17 win in Knoxville ... Posted a season-high four tackles and a pass break-up vs. No. 16 Kentucky (10/27) ... Tallied three stops (all solo) in Mizzou's thrilling win at Purdue (9/15) and added three more against No. 2 Georgia (9/22) and also in the Liberty Bowl against Oklahoma State (12/31).
2017 SEASON
Promising young safety prospect who gained valuable experience - and showed his athleticism and play-making potential - while playing as a true freshman ... Saw action in 12 games, and registered 13 tackles in all, including one sack and tackle for loss ... Saw more playing time as the year evolved, and registered at least one tackle in seven of the final eight games of the season ... Had multiple-tackle outings three times, including a career-best three stops at Georgia, with the other multi-tackle games coming against Idaho and at Vanderbilt, where he had two each ... Got in the backfield for his first career sack against Tennessee for his sole tackle of the game.
