2011 SEASON
Impressive athlete and physical tailback prospect who will be on the Tiger squad for his fourth year ... Has been a valuable member of several special teams units over the last two seasons, and he has the size to potentially give the Mizzou offense a short-yardage option in the backfield ... Enters fall camp listed sixth at tailback, where is the biggest of any of the Tiger backs, at 5-foot-11 and 250 pounds ... Got 2 carries in the 2011 Spring Game (for 6 yards), while also catching 2 passes for 11 yards.
2010 SEASON
Earned a second-straight letter for his efforts while seeing action in all 13 games during Mizzou's 10-win season ... Made six tackles on special teams duties (including a season-high 2 stops against McNeese State), and got his first collegiate carry, against McNeese State when he went for a 2-yard gain ... Also made single stops against San Diego State, Miami (Ohio), Texas Tech and Kansas ... Won the team's backup player of the week award for his work during the week leading up to Mizzou's dominant win over rival Kansas.
2009 SEASON
Earned his first letter as a redshirt freshman, as he became a valuable regular on various special teams units ... Was also an important contributor every day in practice, working with the scout team offense as a tailback.
2008 SEASON
Joined the Tiger program as a walk-on tailback prospect.
HIGH SCHOOL
Three-sport standout who starred in football, basketball and baseball ... Made his name on the gridiron as a defensive star, winning All-State honors as a senior while amassing 95 tackles, 11 quarterback sacks and one interception, while also earning All-Conference honors ... Tallied 98 tackles as a junior, to go with eight QB sacks and a pair of interceptions, all of which landed him on the All-State honorable mention squad ... Had 82 tackles and 6 interceptions as a sophomore, and started one game on varsity as a freshman, the first freshman in school history to start a game at that level ... High school coach - John Belskis.
PERSONAL
Parents - Ronnie Culver & Vanessa McGriff-Culver ... Is majoring in parks, recreation and tourism at Mizzou, and chose MU over Wisconsin, Nebraska and Tennessee, among others ... Wants to eventually work in some capacity for a professional or collegiate team and/or do some teaching ... Lists hobbies as writing poetry and X-Box 360 ...
