2016 SEASON
Once again was a valuable contributor in the special teams game, serving as the team’s starting long snapper … Played in 11 games, missing only the Tennessee game (11/19) due to concussion protocol ... Recorded one tackle in Mizzou’s SEC road opener against LSU (10/1) … Tallied one tackle in Mizzou’s road game against Florida (10/15) … Key contributor on special teams as Mizzou’s long snapper in every game this season.

2015 SEASON
Proved to be very valuable again for Mizzou on special teams in 2015 as the team’s starting long snapper … Was a key part of a Mizzou punting unit that ranked 18^th nationally and fourth in the SEC in net punting at 39.99 on the year on 81 punts … Mizzou did not have a punt, field goal or extra point blocked in 2015 and Hurrell was a big part of that as the team’s long snapper ... Tallied three tackles on the season. 

2014 SEASON 
Played in 14 games as the team’s long snapper ... Finished the year with two tackles, coming on a punt return against Florida ... Named the team's Walk-On Player of the Year at the year-end banquet. 

2013 SEASON 
Emerged as an unsung hero as a freshman, taking over the long-snapping duties in his first year on the field ... Won the team’s special teams player of the year award at the season-ending banquet, for his outstanding contributions during the season ... Appeared in 14 games for Mizzou, with his main contributions coming on the Tiger special teams unit as Mizzou’s starting deep snapper ... finished with three tackles on the year ... received the 2013 Spring Team Most Improved Special Teams award prior to the season.
