2018 SEASON
Ran for 709 yards on 147 attempts while averaging 4.8 yards per carry during his junior season … He did all of that while missing the season’s final game against Arkansas (11/23) with a sore foot and sitting out the bowl game … Despite missing those games, he still finished the regular season ranked 12th in the SEC with 64.45 yards per game average while his 709 total yards ranked 15th in the SEC … Teamed with Larry Rountree III to give Mizzou two of the SEC’s top 15 rushers in 2018 – Mizzou joined Georgia and Florida as the only SEC teams to have multiple rushers rank in the top 15 in the league and their 1,721 combined yards were second-most of any running back tandem in the SEC, trailing only Georgia’s D’Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield … Went over 100 yards three times, including a season-high 154 yards on 20 carries at South Carolina (10/6) … Had back-to-back 100-yard games at No. 11 Florida (11/3) and vs. Vanderbilt (11/10), rushing for 114 on 21 carries with a score and 122 on 22 carries with a score, respectively … Was injured on his third carry of the Tennessee game (11/17), forcing him to miss much of that game and all of the finale vs. Arkansas (11/23) … Became the 17th Mizzou player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a career during the Kentucky game (10/27) … Finished the regular season with seven scores and had TDs in four-straight games, beginning with the Memphis contest (10/20) … Added 12 catches for 88 yards (7.3 avg.) with his first career receiving TD coming during the Vanderbilt game (11/10)
2017 SEASON
Was off to a promising start to the year as he looked to record consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons, only to be sidelined by a season-ending shoulder injury in game number six at Georgia ... Ended the year with 481 yards on 80 carries and two touchdowns, averaging 6.0 yards per carry ... Rushed for 202 yards against Missouri State (9/2), becoming the first player in school history to record back-to-back games of 200+ rushing yards after finishing with 226 yards against Tennessee to end the previous season (11/11/16) … Hauled in his longest career reception (19 yards) and first career receiving touchdown against Auburn (9/23) ... Carried 12 times for 74 yards at Kentucky, before suffering the shoulder injury the next week at Georgia.
2016 SEASON
Set Mizzou freshman records for rushing yards in a season (1,062), rushing yards in a single game (225), rushing touchdowns in a season (10) and tied the school record with four rushing TDs in a single game vs. Middle Tennessee (10/22) … Finished the regular season ranked sixth in the SEC in rushing yards per game (105.8), tops among SEC freshmen … His 7.3 yards per carry ranked third among all qualified rushers in SEC games and tops among freshmen … Ended the regular season ranked first in the nation among freshmen in rushing (96.5 yards per game) … Was the first SEC true freshman to rush for more than 1,000 yards since Georgia’s Nick Chubb and LSU’s Leonard Fournette did so in 2014 … He was also Mizzou’s first 1,000-yard rusher since Russell Hansbrough in 2014 ... Rushed for a career high 68 yards with his first collegiate touchdown and also hauled in his first collegiate catch for nine yards in Mizzou’s home opener against Eastern Michigan (9/10) ... Carried the ball eight times for 23 yards and had a kick return for 10 yards against Georgia (9/17) … Became Mizzou’s first true freshman to rush more than 100 yards since Henry Josey in 2010 after going for 115 yards and two scores on 12 carries against Delaware State (9/24) … Ran six times for 35 yards at LSU (10/1) … Posted his second 100-yard game of the season at Florida (10/15), going for 145 yards on 14 carries, including a career-long run of 38 yards in the third quarter … He is the first Mizzou true freshman with two 100-yard rushing games since Brock Olivo in 1994 and his 145 yards at Florida are the second-most ever by a Mizzou true freshman running back and third-most rushing yards ever by a Mizzou freshman ... Became Mizzou’s first true freshman ever to post three separate 100-yard games after running for a career-high 156 yards and a school freshman record four scores against Middle Tennessee (10/22) … His 156 yards are the most ever by a freshman tailback at Mizzou, passing the previous best mark of 151 set by Brock Olivo in 1994 … He is just the fifth player in Mizzou history, regardless of class, to rush for four TDs in a single game … Teamed with RB Ish Witter to become the first Mizzou duo to each post 100 yards rushing since 2013 against Murray State … Caught one pass for three yards against Middle Tennessee as well ... Rushed 13 times for 55 yards against Kentucky (10/29) … Ran 13 times for 82 yards, including a game-tying, 29-yard sprint for a TD in the second quarter at South Carolina (11/5) … Also returned a kick for 17 yards at South Carolina … Tallied his fourth 100-yard rushing game in Mizzou’s win over Vanderbilt (11/12), running for 154 yards on 20 carries, scoring his ninth TD of the season … Followed the Vanderbilt performance with the best game of his career, setting a Mizzou freshman record with 225 yards on 24 carries (9.4 avg.) at Tennessee (11/19) … The 225 yards moved his season total to 1,062, passing Mizzou legend QB Brad Smith for the most rushing yards ever by a Mizzou freshman.
