GRAD STUDENT (2022)     

  • Started all 60 games in center field.
  • Batted the second-highest average on the team with a .317.
  • Smashed a new career record 14 home runs to compliment her .591 slugging percentage.
  • Recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage over 89 chances.
  • Went 3-for-6 with two home runs helping to sweep the Illinois doubleheader (3/16/22).
  • Hit an out-of-the-park ball in three consecutive games against St. Thomas (3/4/22-3/5/22) and Bradley (3/4/22).
  • Finished her career in the program history books with the most career at-bats (828), most career doubles (59), second-most career runs scored (206), second-most career hits (286), seventh-most career RBI (164), and the 10th-highest career slugging percentage (.575).
  • Tallied 59 hits overall, leading the team in doubles (11).
  • Went 4-for-6 on stolen base attempts.

SENIOR (2021)                                                                                                  

  • NFCA Third-Team All-American and Second-Team All-SEC
  • Started all 59 games in center field.
  • Led the team in batting average (.373), hits (79), doubles (16), runs scored (55), RBI (55), and stolen bases (17).
  • Her 79 hits on the season are tied for fifth for a single season in Mizzou Softball history.
  • Smashed a career high 13 home runs, including five in six NCAA Tournament games.
  • Closed the year with a 10-game hitting streak.
  • Became the first player in Mizzou history to reach base in 10 consecutive plate appearances (Feb. 13-20).
  • Joined Rhea Taylor as the only Tigers to record five hits in a single game with her 5-for-5 performance at Florida State (Feb. 13).
  • Eclipsed the 200-hit mark with a double vs. LSU (Apr. 11).
  • Drove in a career high six runs in a win over Western Illinois, including a grand slam to secure the run-rule victory (Mar. 24).
  • Added her second grand slam of the season vs. Arkansas (Apr. 25).

JUNIOR (2020)

2020 season was canceled after 26 games due to the COVID-19 pandemic

  • A consistent member of the lineup, started all 26 games in center field – with 25 starts coming as the leadoff hitter.
  • One of two Tigers to bat over .400 on the season, ended the year with a .407 average (35-of-86) – posting a .407/.469/.605 batting line.
  • Led the team with 30 runs, hitting eight doubles and three home runs.
  • Also went 4-for-6 on stolen base attempts.
  • Ended the season with a 20-game on-base streak.
  • Was 4-for-4 with a double in the comeback win against Virginia Tech, batting in the winning run in the sixth inning (Feb. 15).
  • Scored three runs – the most by any Tiger in a single game on the season – in the win over Cal (Feb. 22).
  • Batted in five runs – tied her career high and was the first five RBI game by a Tiger since May 17, 2019 – in the win over Kansas City. Was 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run and two doubles. Also hit a leadoff home run – the first for Mizzou since she did so against Tennessee on April 1, 2019 – on the day (March 4).

SOPHOMORE (2019)                                                                                                                  

  • Became Mizzou’s first, first-team All SEC selection since 2016 behind a season in which she led the Tigers in hits (67), average (.356), doubles (17) and runs scored (43).
  • Her 17 doubles were third-most in program history.
  • Was one of the hardest players in the country to strikeout, averaging 26.9 at bats between strikeouts. That was the nation’s 18th-best mark. Wilmes only had 7 strikeouts all year.
  • Matched the program record in single-game doubles, smashing three of them in Mizzou’s first win over Georgia (March 16).
  • Was the only Tiger on the roster with a double, a triple, a home run and a stolen base this season.
  • Put her elite speed and power on display all season, becoming the first Tiger with 2+ triples and 3+ home runs since 2015.
  • Posted two, four-hit games (4-4 against No. 5 Washington, 4-5 against No. 21 South Carolina). Was the only Tiger on the roster with any four hit games this season.
  • Smashed a walk-off home run against No. 21 South Carolina in the bottom of the eight inning to win that series for Mizzou.
  • Started the season at shortstop, and finished it in center field. Also played games at second and in right field during the season. 
  • Was perfect in the outfield despite never playing there before, sporting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage after the move.

FRESHMAN (2018)                                                                                                                   

  • Stepped into the Tigers’ starting lineup immediately, solidifying herself as one of the team’s biggest producers at the plate and one of their top defenders up the middle.
  • Recognized by the conference with 2018 Freshman All-SEC honors, marking Mizzou’s fifth straight year with at least one representative on the first-year award list.
  • Joined an impressive list of accomplished Tigers to garner Freshman All-SEC honors, as Tori Finucane (2014), Paige Lowary (2015), Amanda Sanchez (2015), Regan Nash (2016) and Braxton Burnside (2017) round out the list.
  • One of the SEC’s top defenders with 142 assists, ranking sixth-most in the conference.
  • Was even better in SEC only play, as her 65 assists ranked tied for second among conference individuals.
  • 11 total doubles this year ranked second on the team.
  • Added one triple and five home runs for 17 total extra-base hits. That total ranked fourth-best among Tiger hitters.
  • Finished with 11, two-out RBI for the year, marking one of six Tigers with double-digit two-out RBI.
  • Produced 11 multi-hit games (fifth) and six multi-RBI outings (sixth) at the plate, highlighted by only one of three five-plus RBI games this year by a Tiger batter.
  • Enjoyed a strong NCAA Norman Regional (May 18-20) to conclude the season, hitting .308 (4-for-13) with two RBI.
  • Went perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI against Tulsa (May 19) as Mizzou staved off elimination in NCAA Regional play.
  • Launched her last home run of the year in home series against No. 4 Florida (May 4).
  • Tallied an eight-game hitting streak in the heart of SEC play (March 31 - April 20), including a perfect 3-for-3 evening in the Tigers’ series opener at No. 5 Georgia (April 6).
  • After opening her first-year campaign on an 0-for-14 skid, exploded for eight multi-hit games over a 13-game stretch (Feb. 18 - March 4).
  • Also produced an incredible 17 RBI over the 13-game span with five doubles, one triple and three home runs.
  • Earned first career start against CSUN (Feb. 9).
  • Made Mizzou debut earlier that day with a pinch running appearance versus UTEP (Feb. 9).

HIGH SCHOOL                                                                                                                 

  • Four-time first-team Iowa all-state.
  • Two-time first-team Class 5A Elite all-state.
  • Four-time first-team all-district.
  • Four-time first-team Central Iowa Metropolitan League.
  • Three-time All-Academic.
  • Career .522 average at Johnston High School, including 98 stolen bases.
  • Concluded high school career with phenomenal 2017 senior year, hitting .532 with 12 doubles, seven triples, seven home runs, 42 RBI and 30 stolen bases.
  • In  2016 junior season, her .610 average paced all of Iowa Class 5A programs.
  • Three-time Class 5A State All-Tournament Team, including captain of the 2014 team.
  • Keyed Johnston’s 2016 Iowa ttate championship, its second title in three years.
  • Competed with Iowa Slammers club team under head coach Jim Hallman.
