2017 OUTLOOK
Mizzou’s most experienced returning defender who has the most career starts (20) and tackles (130) entering the 2017 season ... He’ll be looked to for veteran leadership and play-making ability in a back half of a defense which is fairly young overall ... Had three tackles in the Black & Gold Game to close spring camp ... Is playing in 2017 as a graduate student, as he received his sociology degree from Mizzou in May.
2016 SEASON
Played in all 12 games for Mizzou, earning seven starts, and totaled 53 tackles (40 solo) with a tackle for loss, an interception and a pass breakup … Recorded seven tackles in Mizzou’s season-opening contest against West Virginia, including one tackle for a loss (9/3) … Matched his season-high with seven tackles against Eastern Michigan (9/10) … Recorded four tackles in Mizzou’s SEC-opener against Georgia (9/17) ... Picked up a pair of tackles and had an 11-yard reception on a fake punt against Delaware State (9/23) … Posted five tackles (two solo) at LSU (10/1) … Posted six tackles (three solo) at Florida (10/15) ... Recorded one tackle against Middle Tennessee (10/22) ... Contributed on defense with three tackles (one solo) against Kentucky (10/29) … Recorded four tackles (three solo) at South Carolina (11/5) in the Mayor’s Cup ... Tallied seven total tackles to go along with a pass breakup against Vanderbilt (11/12) … also racked up three tackles against Tennessee (11/19) and four tackles against Arkansas (11/25) … Had a 14-yard rush on a fake punt in the Arkansas game as well, converting a key fourth down and Mizzou scored two plays later to get back into the game as the fake punt sparked a 17-point halftime comeback.
2015 SEASON
Started all 12 games at strong safety for the Tigers and finished third on the team with 64 total tackles, four tackles for loss, one interception, six pass break-ups a forced fumble and a fumble recovery … Also served as the team’s kick returner for the first four games, totaling 142 yards on eight attempts … Named the Bob Jeffries Kansas City Player of the Year Award by the team ... Posted a season-high eight tackles on three separate occasions: vs. Florida (Oct. 10), at Vanderbilt (Oct. 24) and vs. Mississippi State (Nov. 5) … Had a career-high 2.5 tackles vs. Mississippi State and a career-high three pass break-ups at Georgia (Oct. 17) … Had the game-winning interception on a fake field goal vs. UConn, returning it 50 yards before being tackled … Had six tackles (all solo) at Arkansas State (Sept. 12) with a tackle-for-loss … Posted pass break-ups in back-to-back games vs. BYU (Nov. 14) and Tennessee (Nov. 21).
2014 SEASON
Played in 14 games, seeing action primarily on special teams, tallying 13 tackles (eight solo, five assists) ... Had a career-high five tackles at Toledo (Sept. 6) in a 49-24 win ... Had a pair of tackles in wins at Texas A&M (Nov. 15) and at Tennessee (Nov. 22). Also made the 2013-14 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

A standout athlete in the state of Missouri’s class of 2013, rated by Rivals.com as the eighth-best recruit in the state and the No. 65 athlete in the nation ... earned a first team Class 3 All-State nod at running back from the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association, while receiving second team recognition from the Missouri Football Coaches Association ... two-way player for Rams head coach Phil Lascuola ... rushed for 1,591 yards and 19 touchdowns while making 35 tackles and two interceptions as a senior in 2012 ... considered the fifth-best overall recruit in the state by ESPN.com and eighth-best by Rivals.com ... recorded 53 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and five interceptions as a junior in 2011 ... also participated in basketball and track and field for Hogan.
