Paige Duca is in her third season at Missouri as an assistant coach with the cross country and track and field programs after joining the Tigers in August of 2023.
She assists with team management and coaching, contributing to the development of cross country athletes at Mizzou, and serves as the meet director for all home cross country events, ensuring the smooth execution of competitions and fostering a positive environment for athletes. That role has been especially important this year as she leads the local organizing committee for the 2025 NCAA Championships that will be held at Mizzou’s Gans Creek Cross Country Course, showcasing her leadership in hosting major cross country events. She also works with alumni development, community engagement, and official recruiting visit coordination, enhancing the program's outreach and recruitment efforts.
Among the Tigers she’s coached are Kelsey Schweitzer, All-American and school record holder in the 800m; SEC 3000m indoor champion Drew Rogers; SEC mile finalist Rahel Broemmel; and long-distance stars Anneken Viljoen and Monica Wanjuku.
Duca came to Columbia after serving as the recruiting coordinator for the cross country and distance programs at Tennessee. With the Vols, she evaluated prospective student-athletes, directed on-campus recruiting efforts, and coordinated team compliance activities.
Prior to her stint in Knoxville, Duca worked at Michigan, where she served as the event coordinator for the men's and women's tennis programs. She also worked as the tournament manager for the NCAA Women's Golf Regional and NCAA Men's Tennis Super Regional. During the 2021-22 year, Duca worked at Harvard in event management, where she was the primary event coordinator for indoor track & field, men's soccer, men's volleyball, and women's hockey.
A standout collegiate athlete, Duca ran for Boston College from 2015-2020 and was a two-time All-American in the 1500-meter and mile. She was also an NCAA Regional qualifier in the 3000-meter steeplechase and earned All-ACC honors in cross country, the mile, distance medley relay, and 1500m. Duca was selected as captain for two consecutive years for the Boston College Cross Country and Track & Field Teams. As a graduate student, she served as captain of the cross country team in 2019 and helped guide the team to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Her coaching career began with the Eagles, where she served as an assistant cross country and distance coach in 2021.
Duca graduated from Boston College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. She also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from her alma mater.
