2009: Michaele Vock scored nine runs as a pinch runner for the Tigers, two in NCAA postseason play. Entering Missouri's May 23 NCAA Super Regional game against No. 1 seeded UCLA, Vock scored the first of two Tiger runs on the night, advancing home on Tiger second baseman Andee Allen's one-out double. Vock also made her way around the basepath in the Tigers' May 30 Women's College World Series game against ninth-ranked Georgia, scoring run No. 2 in the sixth inning. Pinch running for teammate Micaela Minner, Vock scored on rightfielder Marla Schweisberger's two-out single to centerfield. At the plate, Vock was 1-for-1 as a pinch hitter in Missouri's April 18 game against Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. Entering the game in the fourth inning, Vock singled to right field driving in third baseman Lindsey Ubrun from third base. Honors: Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
2008: In her second season with the Missouri softball team, Vock scored 10 runs, her first coming March 14 against Big Ten opponent Wisconsin at the Tiger Invitational. Entering as a pinch runner in 27 games, Vock was credited with two runs in postseason play, the first against Iowa on May 16, the second against Long Beach State, May 17.
2007: Serving as one of Missouri's pinch runners throughout her freshman season, Vock scored 14 runs for the Tigers, including three against Columbia College, March 16 at home. Vock singled to left field to drive in one run and scored twice while pinch running for teammate Amanda Renth. Vock recorded her first career run in Missouri's season opener, Feb. 9 against Centenary College.
Morrison: Led by Head Coach Tammy Deter, Vock and the Fillies of Morrison High School were four-time conference champions earning regional titles her junior (2005) and senior (2006) seasons. Vock, a shortstop with the Fillies, placed third her junior and senior campaigns in the Illinois Hitting Derby. In addition to softball, Vock played on the girls basketball team and earned six letters in her four years of high school. Among her honors, Vock was also named the Most Valuable Player of her softball squad and named honorary captain. Strong academically, Vock was a member of the National Honor Society. Vock played two years of club softball with the Heartland Havoc, coached by Butch Woner in Moline, Ill.
Personal:Pronounced muh-KAY-lee, Vock is the daughter of Phil and Tracy Vock and has one older brother Nate (23) and sister Abby (20). Vock was born Dec. 26, 1987, in Sterling, Ill., and her sister, Abby, is a junior on the Tiger softball team.
