2023-24 • FRESHMAN
Played in 30 games during his rookie season, averaging 2.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.0 minutes of action • Started 13 of the final 14 games • Tallied a season-best 10 points to go with four rebounds and one steal at Ole Miss (Feb. 17) • Collected a career-high five boards in his first collegiate start at Texas A&M (Jan. 23) • Ranked second on the team with 25 blocks, rejecting multiple shots on nine occasions with a season-best three versus Texas A&M (Feb. 7).

HIGH SCHOOL
Played five years at Christ Church Episcopal School with his father, John, coaching the team • Led the Cavaliers to two state championships in 2021 and 2023 • Averaged 21.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 1.2 assists during his senior campaign • Earned Class A State Player of the Year, while also earning an invite to the 2023 Carolina Classic All-Star Game • Two-time all-state and all-region honoree • Finished his high school career averaging 11 points and seven rebounds • Also participated in the USA Junior National Team camp in 2021.

Born June 20, 2005 • Son of John and Casie Butler • Mom played basketball at South Carolina • Two brothers – John Butler Jr. and Josh Butler • John played one season at Florida State (2021-22) and is currently a member of the NBA’s Washington Wizards • Majoring in communications.
