2023 (Graduate): Schrader was a First-Team All-America selection by the Associated Press, as well as a Second-Team Walter Camp All-America pick ... named a First-Team All-SEC selection by both the Associated Press and coaches … selected as the winner of the Burlsworth Trophy, honoring the most outstanding player in the nation who began his career as a walk-on … Schrader leads the SEC in rushing with an average of 125.1 yards per game through 13 contests … completed the season with 1,627 rushing yards on 276 carries, claiming the top spot in Mizzou’s single-season rushing chart, besting Tyler Badie’s 1,604 yards in 2021 … named a finalist for both the Doak Walker Award, he became just the 15th Tiger (and the first since Larry Rountree III in 2018) to rush for 1,000 yards in a season … with 23 rushing touchdowns in 26 career games at MU, Schrader ranks ninth all-time at Mizzou for rushing TDs … finished the season with a streak of ten consecutive games (dating back to Sept. 23 vs. Memphis) with at least one rushing TD … in just two seasons at Mizzou, Schrader has amassed 2,371 rushing yards, which is No. 12 total on the Tigers’ career rushing list … surpassed the 1,000 all-purpose yard barrier for the season, totaling 1,818 yards, marking the fifth-highest total (third-best by a running back) in program history; he also ran his Mizzou career total to 2,562 all-purpose yards … Schrader topped the century mark for rushing yardage nine times in 2023 and 25 times overall in his career; his streak of six consecutive 100-yard rushing performances to end the season is the longest in Mizzou history … one of the Tigers’ six permanent 2023 team captains, the St. Louis native earned a pair of SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors: first, on Oct. 23, after running for 159 yards against South Carolina (Oct. 21), marking his 20th career 100-yard rushing performance; also, on Nov. 27, following his Mizzou career high of 217 rushing yards at Arkansas (Nov. 24) … Schrader became the first SEC player and just the 10th FBS player ever to record 200 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in a game Nov. 11 vs. Tennessee … against No. 1 Georgia (Nov. 4), Schrader totaled a game-high 112 yards against a Bulldog defense that ranked 11th in the country against the run entering the game … racked up 128 rushing yards and the seven-yard game winning score in his career curtain call against Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl (Dec. 29) ... 2022 (Senior): The walk-on saw action in all 13 games this season, making 11 starts … the Truman State transfer finished the season leading the team in rushing with 746 yards and nine touchdowns, adding 137 receiving yards on 19 grabs … made the most of his opportunity as he started in the season opener vs. LA Tech (9/1), racking up 70 rush yards and scoring the teams first touchdown of the season … tacked on 89 rush-yards against Georgia (10/1), breaking out a 63-yard run along the way … had 51 all-purpose yards and a rushing touchdown at Florida (10/8) … racked up 98 all-purpose yards against Vanderbilt (10/22) … had 113 all-purpose yards and a touchdown on the ground at South Carolina (10/29) … had 114 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns on the ground against New Mexico State (11/19) … had 87 yards and a touchdown on the ground against Arkansas (11/26) … netted 54 yards and touchdown on the ground in the bowl game against Wake Forest (12/23).
Prior to Mizzou: Spent the 2018-21 seasons at Truman State … 2021 GLVC co-Offensive Player of the Year … unanimous All-GLVC first-team selection … totaled an NCAA Division II-leading 2,074 rushing yards on 300 carries, including 24 touchdowns … caught 22 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown … surpassed the 200-yard rushing mark five times, and reached 100 rushing yards in all but one game … led the GLVC in scoring with 12.9 points per game, 90 total points, and 15 TDs … registered career-highs of 35 rushing attempts and four rushing touchdowns at Davenport (9/4/21), and 278 rushing yards at Missouri S&T (10/9/21) ... named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week twice … led Truman State to a win in the America’s Crossroads Bowl against Hillsdale College … had three-straight 100-yard rushing games to start the spring 2021 season … finished with 83 carries for 405 yards and seven touchdowns … named first-team All-GLVC … in 2019, played in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman, taking 96 carries for 605 yards … had a career high 126 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries against Quincy … snagged 30 catches for 231 yards and a touchdown … finished season with 870 all-purpose yards … earned second-team All-GLVC honors … redshirted his freshman season in 2018 while earning academic All-GLVC accolades.
High School: Four-year starter who finished with 834 rushes for 6,759 yards and 99 touchdowns … also caught 53 receptions for 659 yards and five touchdowns … recorded three kickoff return touchdowns and one punt return touchdown … totaled 111 touchdowns including three passing … had 481 total tackles, 14 sacks, five fumble recoveries, and one interception on the defensive side of the ball … holds 17 school records at Lutheran South High School including touchdowns, rushing attempts, rushing yards, total yards and total points in a single game, season, and career for all five categories … defensively, holds the records for most tackles in a season and a career … a four-time all-conference running back and linebacker … three-time Conference Player of the Year, four-time all-district running back and linebacker, and three-time All-Metro running back … twice named second-team all-state … first-team all-state as a senior … with a 4.0 GPA as a junior and senior, was awarded Honors with Highest Distinction.
