Joseph Dattoli came to Mizzou as director of player development in August 2023, after serving the same role on Head Coach Kerrick Jackson’s Memphis staff in 2022. He also worked with the new Tigers skipper during his tenure at Southern University, overseeing the Jaguars’ player development before earning his undergraduate degree from the Baton Rouge institution in 2020.

Originally hailing from St. Louis, Dattoli previously served as a lead analyst for Prep Baseball Report’s data operations team and as its West Coast Operations Director.

Dattoli is currently a PhD candidate in Mizzou's statistics and data analytics program. He completed his master’s degree in data analytics from Southern New Hampshire in 2022.
