2010-11: Neely finished his first season as a Tiger with an 8-4 record and placed in both open tournaments that he competed in. After getting pinned in his first match of the year at the UCM Open, Neely bounced back to win his next six matches, all by decision, to finish in third place. The following weekend, Neely won his first two matches - defeating Tomas Lira of Iowa by a 7-5 score and Kazden Ikehara of the Air Force Academy, 5-2 - on his way to a sixth place finish.
2009-10 (Meramec): Neely wrestled for Meramec College, where he helped the team to a third place finish nationally.
High School: Clarence Neely wrestled for the Blue Springs Wildcats in high school, finishing off his career with a state championship during his senior year. He also helped his team earn three consecutive third place finishes at state from 2006 to 2008. He's a three-time All-American at the Fargo Nationals in both freestyle and Greco.
Personal: Clarence Neely is the son of Richard and Lenora Holliday and was born on Sept. 6, 1989 in Chicago, Ill. He is undecided on his major and wants to move to Alaska after college.
