Indoor Track - Shammai focused on the triple jump during her debut season as a Tiger, starting with the Border Battle where she tallied an event win with a top mark of 11.22m (36-9.75)...She was eighth during the Missouri Invitational (11.19m // 36-8.50)...Her PR came during the Tiger Invitational, where she took third with a top jump of 11.74m (38-6.25), the ninth-best jump in school history...She ended her regular season at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, finishing fourth with a mark of 11.62m (38-1.50)...Shammai closed the indoor season during the SEC Championships, where she placed 22nd in the field with a top mark of 11.66m (38-3.25).

Outdoor Track - Shammai wasted little time rolling into the outdoor season, hitting a triple jump PR right out of the gate during the Bobcat Invitational where she placed fourth with a jump of 12.31m (404.75), good for No. 3 in the Mizzou All-Time Top Ten...She was fourth at the John McDonnell Invitational with a top mark of 12.01m (39-5)...She traveled to the prestigious Penn Relays, where she marked in at 12.16mw (39-10.75)...Shammai defended her home track during the Tom Botts Invitational, winning her lone long jump competition of the season (5.31m // 40-4.75)...She was third in the triple jump during the Tom Botts Invite (11.97m // 39-3.25)...Shammai once again laced up for the SEC Championships, where she placed 15th (12.06mw // 39-7)...She closed her season at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, where she ended in 47th overall.
