2019-20 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll
2022 (Senior): Started in all 12 games during the regular season … finished the regular season fourth on the team with 49 total tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, four sacks and a pass-breakup … made 5+ tackles on five occasions this season … picked up right where he left off against LA Tech (9/1), racking up four tackles, three of which were for a loss, totalling seven yards … made five tackles at Kansas State (9/10) … made three tackles at Auburn (9/24), including 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and forced a fumble … had six tackles, one TFL and two pass breakups against Georgia (10/1) … made seven tackles and a TFL against Vanderbilt (10/22) … made five tackles, a TFL and a sack at South Carolina (10/29) … made seven tackles at Tennessee (11/12) … had four tackles, two TFL’s and two sacks against Arkansas (11/26).
2021 (Junior): Started all 12 regular season games at defensive back … third on the team in tackles with 77 - 60 solo - and tacked on eight tackles for loss, four sacks, a forced fumble and an interception on the season … racked up a season-high 11 tackles at Boston College (9/25) and against Tennessee (10/2) … recorded seven solo tackles, 1.5 TFL and a half sack at Boston College (9/25) … tallied 10 solo tackles, two TFL, a sack and a pass breakup against Tennessee (10/2) … made nine tackles and a pass breakup at Georgia (11/6) … recorded seven tackles, a tackle for loss, and a nine-yard sack at Arkansas (11/26) … his lone interception of the season came at Vanderbilt (10/30) as he tacked on five tackles and a tackle for loss … racked up six tackles in four contests on the season.
2020 (Sophomore): Started all 10 games at defensive back … ranked third on the team with 64 tackles … also had 7.0 TFL, 2.5 sacks, five passes broken up and one forced fumble … recorded at least seven tackles in five games … career-high 12 tackles and one pass defended vs. Arkansas (12/5) … SEC week one best of 3.5 TFL vs. No. 2 Alabama (9/26) … five tackles and first career sack at South Carolina (11/21) … seven tackles and one forced fumble at No. 10/9 Florida (10/31) … played every snap (36) vs. Kentucky (10/24), making three tackles and defending one pass … nine tackles at No. 21/20 Tennessee (10/3) … had 2.0 TFL, including 1.0 sack, to go along with seven tackles against No. 12/10 Georgia … five tackles and two passes broken up against Mississippi State (12/19).
2019 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, including one start … made four tackles (three solo) in his first season with the program … Had tackles in four games, with solo stops against Southeast Missouri (9/14), the first of his career, at Vanderbilt (10/19) and at Kentucky (10/26) in his first career start … added an assisted stop in the finale at Arkansas (11/29).
High School: Three-star recruit by all the major services … first-team all-state and all-district defensive back as a senior … guided Rock Bridge to a 9-3 record and an appearance in the district championship game as a senior … led the team with 112 total tackles, six tackles for loss, three interceptions and five forced fumbles as a senior … tallied four receiving touchdowns and two kick return scores during his senior season … posted 83 tackles, eight pass breakups and a team-high five interceptions as a junior, earning all-area honors from the Columbia Daily Tribune … part of the state champion 800m-relay and 1600m-relay teams … state runner-up in the 300m hurdles with a third-place finish in the 110m hurdles.
