  • Won his first two matches at Big 12 Championships (March 4-5), including his first ranked win of the year over No. 19 Cody Phippen of Air Force, to advance to the championship semifinals

  • Knocked off 3-seed Gabriel Tagg (SDSU) at the Big 12 Championships, beating him twice at the tournament with the second coming by fall (5:33)

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2020-21)

  • Wrestled to a 6-2 record during his second year in Black and Gold
  • Opened his season with two victories at the North Dakota Sate Quadrangular (Jan. 3), including a two-point victory over No. 26, Oregon State’s Brandon Kaylor

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2019-20)

  • A former National Qualifier, he went 10-1 in his first season with the program after transferring from Wisconsin
  • Wrestled primarily at 133 pounds
  • Battled a shoulder injury late in the season, limiting his bouts following the turn of the new year
  • Of his 10 wins during his first season at Mizzou, six came by fall
  • His only loss of the season came at the UNI Open, Dec. 11, a 6-5 decision against Ramazan Attassauov of Iowa State

BEFORE MIZZOU

  • Began his college career at South Dakota State (2018-19) and earned NWCA All-Academic Team
  • Compiled a record of 23-16 as a freshman and qualified for the NCAA Championships at 125 pounds in 2018
  • Transferred to Wisconsin as a sophomore and collected an individual record of 11-3 during the 2019-20 campaign
