The Mizzou men's basketball team added another key piece to its puzzle on Thursday, signing All-Summit League honoree Jordan Crawford.
Named to the all-conference second team in 2025-26, Crawford led South Dakota with 461 points as a junior – averaging 14.4 points per game. He also sank a team-best 77 triples during the campaign, ranking fifth in the Summit League in makes and placing ninth among players with two 3-pointers per game with a clip of 36.8 percent.
"We're excited to add Jordan to our roster," said Whitten Family Head Coach Dennis Gates. "He fills a need for us as a major threat behind the arc that can really increase the spacing on the court for us. He also brings terrific leadership and experience to our locker room so we look forward to welcoming him to Mizzou."
Crawford played at his best the second half of his junior campaign, ranking among the nation's best shooters in 2026. In his final 15 games of the season, Crawford averaged 18.0 points per game, making 51 shots from beyond the arc at a 42.5 percent clip. His 3.40 triples per game ranked as 20th-most nationally during that stretch.
A 6-foot-3 guard from Charlotte, Crawford also added 2.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game during his junior campaign. He also played at College of Charleston in 2023-24 and Eastern Kentucky in 2024-25 – totaling 846 points, 156 made 3-pointers, 173 rebounds, 89 steals and 81 assists in 94 collegiate games.
Crawford is the fifth transfer to join the Tigers during the spring transfer period. Along with Tennessee transfer Jaylen Carey, BYU transfer Kennard Davis Jr., Providence transfer Jamier Jones, Kansas transfer Bryson Tiller and the nation's No. 7 freshman recruiting class, Crawford joins a Mizzou program that is coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids and double-digit SEC-win campaigns for the first time since joining the conference in 2012.
