
Tennis Set to Take on No. 11 South Carolina and No. 1 Georgia

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou tennis looks to host Southeastern Conference opponents No. 11 South Carolina on Friday, March 6, at 2 p.m. CT and No. 1 Georgia on Sunday, March 8, at 11:30 a.m. CT.
The Friday match against the Gamecocks is set to take place inside at Green Tennis Center, while Sunday's match against UGA has a possibility of being outside at Country Club of Missouri, pending weather. Follow Mizzou tennis on X (@Mizzou_Tennis) for the most up-to-date information.
Mizzou is currently 9-5 and 0-3 in SEC matches. Most recently, the Tigers clinched a 4-0 win against Lindenwood on March 1. Senior Andrea Artimedi and sophomore Gian Octa continue to impress in doubles, securing a 6-0 victory against the Lions. Sophomore Korina Roso scored a quick win in singles, with a 6-0, 6-0 score.
The Tigers are 0-13 against No. 11 South Carolina and No. 1 Georgia, taking on both teams in April 2025 and suffering a 4-0 loss versus each opponent.
The Bulldogs are the reigning 2025 National Champions and currently defend the No. 1 spot in the nation, holding that ranking since Jan. 7. No. 11 Gamecocks are coming off a 4-3 victory last weekend, Feb. 28, over the Ole Miss Rebels, boosting their ranking six spots.
