
Tennis Welcomes SEC Opponents and Lindenwood

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou tennis faces Southeastern Conference opponent No. 10 Texas at home on Friday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. CT, before closing out the weekend against No. 5 Texas A&M and Lindenwood on Sunday, March 1, playing at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT, respectively.
The Friday match is planned to be outside at the Country Club of Missouri. While Sunday's matches will likely be indoors at Green Tennis Center, pending the weather. Follow Mizzou tennis on X (@Mizzou_Tennis) for the most up-to-date information.
Entering the weekend, Missouri is 8-3 and 0-1 in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers are coming off a 4-1 road win at DePaul on Feb. 24. Senior Andrea Artimedi had an impressive performance, clinching both the doubles point with her partner, sophomore Gian Octa, and the match with her singles win.
Against SEC opponents No. 10 Texas and No. 5 Texas A&M, Mizzou is 1-18 and 2-31, respectively. The Black and Gold have a perfect 4-0 record against Lindenwood, with their last match being in April 2025.
The Longhorns and Aggies played last weekend, Feb. 22, with Texas A&M coming out victorious, 4-3. Meanwhile, Lindenwood is on a two-match win streak, having defeated Drake (Jan. 31) and IU Indy (Feb. 14) 4-2 in both contests.
