
Tennis Set for Full Weekend of Matches

Mizzou tennis features a full slate of matches this weekend, starting with a doubleheader at home on Friday, Feb. 20. The Tigers will take on Morgan State at 10:30 a.m. CT and Murray State at 2 p.m. CT. The Black and Gold will then head to Nashville on Sunday, Feb. 22, to begin Southeastern Conference play with a match against Vanderbilt at 1:30 p.m. CT, before competing with Tennessee State at 6 p.m. CT.
Missouri is 4-2 and coming off wins against Saint Louis and SIUE. The Black and Gold swept 7-0 in both contests. Freshman Lara Quaglia won her first collegiate singles match, earning a 6-3, 6-0 victory against her opponent from SLU. Sophomore Zoe Lazar and Quaglia were a standout pair in doubles, defeating their opponents against Saint Louis and SIUE each 6-0.
The Tigers are 1-0 against Morgan State and 4-1 against Murray State all-time. For the Sunday feature, Mizzou faces Tennessee State for the first time in program history and is 1-12 against Vanderbilt.

Mizzou travels to Chicago to face DePaul on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at noon CT.
