Men’s Golf Continues Action in Hawaii

The Mizzou men's golf team wrapped up the second day of action in Hawaii on Friday, finishing in 16th place of 19 teams.
Sophomore Trent Mierl led the Tigers with a two-over 72 in the second round. He carded two birdies on the day and moved up 10 spots in the standings as he now is in 86th with a two-day score of +9.
Overall, senior Virgilio Paz leads Mizzou and sits in 45th place with a two-day tally of +4. He finished with a second-round 73 to finish with the top score after 36 holes for the Tigers. Junior Brock Snyder matched Paz with a 73 on Friday and is second overall on the team at +7.
The final day of action is set for Saturday with the schools teeing off at 1 p.m. CT.
